Prof Khatijah obtained her basic nursing training at the University Malaya, midwifery, and neonatal intensive care nursing in the United Kingdom. Both her BSc in Nursing and Masters in Health Services Management were from the University of Manchester UK while her Doctorate in Clinical Practice is from the University of Southampton, UK. With over 35 years of experience in nursing education and clinical practice, both nationally and internationally, as a nurse and midwife, she is a strong advocate for equality and inclusion in research activities and teaching, actively championing diversity within nursing practice. She is currently the Chief Editor for the Malaysia Journal of Qualitative Research and Academic Editor for PLOS ONE, Nursing Research and Practice Journal , Nursing Forum.

Hammad Ather is a tenured and endowed professor of urology at Aga Khan University and a consultant urologist at the KSSH, Taif. He was head of Urology at the Aga Khan University for over 10 years and previously served as the Urology program director. He also chaired the ethics review committee at the Aga Khan University.
He served on the editorial board of the African Journal of Urology, Türkiye Klinikleri, and is currently an editorial board member of Advances in Urology and Int J Urology.
Actively involved in teaching and training. Trained over 30 urologists and are serving in academic positions around the world.
He has over 140 indexed peer-reviewed publications, over 12 book Chapters, and has edited five books. His publications have a significant impact, with nearly 200,000 citations, an H index of 39, and an i10index of 93 (https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=bmdzI-sAAAAJ) as accessed on 23rd April 2025.
He is the director of “Conceptual basis of Urology course”, A monthly webinar on contemporary urological topics for trainees and urologists, so far, over 40 high-impact webinars (https://www.pauskarachi.org/CBC.htm ). Recently started a One-year certification course in uro oncology, the course, with over 30 leading experts in Uro cancer as faculty from around the world https://www.pauskarachi.org/uro.oncology.course.htm ).
He was trained in Karachi and London and has had many short fellowships in Rotterdam (Prof Shroeder and Mickish), the UK (Michael Kallet and Prof Whitfield), Berne, Switzerland (Prof. Urs Studer and George Thalmann), India (Mahesh Desai), and Leuven (Prof Hein Van Poppel). His clinical interests include uro-oncology and endourology. -

Dr. Ketan K. Badani is Professor of Urology, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Vice Chairman of Urology and Robotic Operations at the Mount Sinai Health System, Director of Robotic Surgery at Mount Sinai West, Director of the Comprehensive Kidney Cancer Center and Reconstructive Urology at Mount Sinai Health System and Chief, Surgical Innovation and Strategy – Mount Sinai West and Morningside Hospitals. Dr. Badani is a compassionate and engaged urologist based in New York, NY. Dr. Badani graduated at the top of his class from Case Western Reserve school pf Medicine in Cleveland. He went on to complete his urology residency at the world renown Vattikuti Urology Institute at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He has also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive urologic oncology at the Vattikuti Urology Institute, where robotic urologic surgery was first performed in the United States. Dr. Badani is known as a world leader in the research and treatment of urologic oncology. With a focus on prostate and kidney cancer, he has led teams and published techniques for minimally invasive robotic kidney cancer surgery. His technique for a partial nephrectomy, F.A.S.T (First Assistant Sparing Technique) has been published and taught around the world to help patients with renal tumors. Dr. Badani has the largest combined experience in robotic kidney and prostate cancer surgery in the New York area. Having performed over 4,000 robotic procedures in his career, he is in the top 1% of urologist worldwide. His clinical expertise covers both surgical and non-surgical approaches to treatment of urologic cancers.
