Dr. En Meng is a distinguished medical professional with a focus on urology and surgical practices. Currently serving as the Deputy Superintendent at the Tri-Service General Hospital and a Professor at the School of Medicine at the National Defense Medical Center in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Meng brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his roles. Dr. Meng's academic journey includes obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology from the University of Oxford in the UK and a Doctor of Medicine from the National Defense Medical Center. His professional experiences span various leadership positions within the Tri-Service General Hospital, including serving as the Director of the Department of Surgery, Chief of the Division of Urology, Director of the Innovation Incubation Center, and Director of the Nephrology and Urology Integration Segment Program. Additionally, Dr. Meng has been instrumental in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. Dr. Meng's research interests center around functional urology, female urology, ketamine uropathy, and chronic cystitis. His published works in esteemed journals such as Biology (Basel), Frontiers in Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics highlight his contributions to the field. Notably, his research on ketamine-related cystitis and the use of intravesical dextrose injection for interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome have garnered significant attention. Dr. Meng's dedication to advancing medical knowledge and providing exceptional patient care positions him as a leading figure in the field of urology. His expertise, combined with his commitment to research and education, continues to make a positive impact on the medical community.

Kentaro Mizuno graduated from Nagoya City University with a medical degree in 1998 and completed his residency at Nagoya City University Hospital. From 2002 to 2005, he was engaged in molecular and cellular biology research at the Mitsubishi Kagaku Institute of Life Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Medical Sciences at Nagoya City University. After working as a general urologist, Dr. Mizuno specialized in pediatric urology and conducted basic research in andrology. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Urology at Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medical Sciences. His clinical focus includes pediatric urology with a particular emphasis on cryptorchidism, hypospadias, disorders of sex development, hydronephrosis, and vesicoureteral reflux. Dr. Mizuno’s primary research interests lie in the differentiation of spermatogonial stem cells. He is also a pioneer of pediatric urologic robotic surgery in Japan. Dr. Mizuno is also a committee member for the formulation of medical management guidelines for pediatric vesicoureteral reflux in the Japanese Society of Pediatric Urology.
