Dr MAN is Consultant Urologist of Department of Surgery at Tuen Mun Hospital & Pok Oi Hospital. He had served as Chief of Service of the Department, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Surgery and Chairman of the Specialty Group in Urology Services in the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong. He is a general urologist with particular interest in bladder reconstruction, prostate cancer and stone disease. Dr Man graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1981. He has been elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow, College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. He is a Specialist in Urology in Hong Kong. He is holder of Diploma of Urology (London) with distinction and Schering Prize, and also Diploma of Child Health (London). In addition to his medical qualifications, Dr Man is also a Bachelor in Laws at Beijing University, China. In urology education, Dr Man has helped to establish higher urology training programmes at the Tuen Mun and Pok Oi Hospitals in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Board of Examiners for the joint Urology Examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, and the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong. He is a Past President of the Hong Kong Urological Association and had served as Honorary Secretary of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, Chairman of the Urology Board and 1st vice President of the Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong. He is a Past President of the Urological Association of Asia and he had held honorary advisory positions within the China Doctors’ Association Urology Chapter, the Hong Kong College of Urological Nurses and the Macao Surgical Association. He spends his spare time in reading and gardening. -

Dr. En Meng is a distinguished medical professional with a focus on urology and surgical practices. Currently serving as the Deputy Superintendent at the Tri-Service General Hospital and a Professor at the School of Medicine at the National Defense Medical Center in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Meng brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his roles. Dr. Meng's academic journey includes obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology from the University of Oxford in the UK and a Doctor of Medicine from the National Defense Medical Center. His professional experiences span various leadership positions within the Tri-Service General Hospital, including serving as the Director of the Department of Surgery, Chief of the Division of Urology, Director of the Innovation Incubation Center, and Director of the Nephrology and Urology Integration Segment Program. Additionally, Dr. Meng has been instrumental in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. Dr. Meng's research interests center around functional urology, female urology, ketamine uropathy, and chronic cystitis. His published works in esteemed journals such as Biology (Basel), Frontiers in Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics highlight his contributions to the field. Notably, his research on ketamine-related cystitis and the use of intravesical dextrose injection for interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome have garnered significant attention. Dr. Meng's dedication to advancing medical knowledge and providing exceptional patient care positions him as a leading figure in the field of urology. His expertise, combined with his commitment to research and education, continues to make a positive impact on the medical community.
