Dr. Koon Ho Rha is the Director of NAVER Healthcare Lab, Korea. NAVER is Korea’s premier IT company, services include search engine, on-line shopping (NAVER SHOPPING), fintech (NAVER PAY), Cloud services (NAVER CLOUD) and entertainment (eg. WEBTOON). Before joining NAVER in 2021, Dr. Rha was Professor of Urology and Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center. He received both his premedicine education magna cum laude and his M.D. degree from the Yonsei University, Seoul. Dr. Rha was trained during his urological rotating residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He underwent fellowship training in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution as Engineering and Urology endowed fellow, and served as visiting Assistant Professor in Urology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. During his stay, he also completed “Business in Medicine” a 1-year MBA program at the School of Business Administration and Education. In 2005 at Yonsei University Dr. Rha set up the East Asia’s first robotic surgery program which now has the most robotic cases as a single hospital in the world with 35,000 cases. During next 15 years, Dr. Rha has performed the most cases in Asia with more than 3700 cases of robotic cases. Dr. Rha also led Korean surgical robot clinical trial which resulted in KFDA approval in August 2017. He has given more than 550 lectures on robotic surgery and performed live surgery or proctored more than 60 occasions in 15 countries including US, China, Japan, Taiwan, Czech Republic, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, India, Malaysia, Italy, Kuwait, Vietnam and France. Dr. Rha has more than 350 peer-reviewed scientific publications on minimally invasive urological surgery. On administrative side, he has served as the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Strategy Officer at Yonsei University Health System which now serves as foundation of basic knowledge at NAVER Healthcare Lab developing various innovative, AI -based healthcare services.

Gracielle V. Samilin is a highly respected nursing professional with extensive experience in clinical and administrative healthcare settings. She obtained her basic education from Mines Elementary School (1989–1995) and Quezon City Academy (1995–1999), and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Jude College Manila in 2003. She successfully passed the Nurse Licensure Examination in December of the same year. Ms. Samilin is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Nursing, major in Hospital Administration, at the Philippine Women’s University (2022–present), further advancing her leadership and managerial competencies in the healthcare field. She has been with the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) since May 2005, where she presently serves as the Cath Lab Manager. In the course of her tenure, she has held significant leadership positions, notably as one of the Head Nurses at the Emergency Room during the COVID-19 pandemic, and as head of Unit 2C, which was converted into a COVID ward during the peak of the health crisis. Ms. Samilin has received recognition for her contributions, including being awarded Best Nursing Leader in the General Nursing Department and nominated as Best Supervisor in 2022. In addition to her clinical and managerial responsibilities, she is actively engaged in professional organizations and quality initiatives. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Urologic Nurses of the Philippines, Inc., a Board Member of the Cathlab Associates of the Philippines, and an Internal Quality Auditor at NKTI. Her professional certifications include Emergency Medical Technician and Certified Nephrology. With a strong foundation in nursing practice and a commitment to continuous improvement, Ms. Samilin exemplifies excellence in healthcare leadership and patient-centered care.

Shigeo Horie, M.D., Ph.D., is a urologist and professor based in Japan. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tokyo in 1985. After completing his residency in urology at the University of Tokyo Hospital, he earned ECFMG certification for medical licensure. He then pursued both research and clinical fellowships in nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Horie has held academic and clinical positions at the University of Tokyo, the National Cancer Center Hospital, the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, and Kyorin University. His research background spans physiology, genetic diseases, molecular biology, and oncology. In 2003, he was appointed Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology at Teikyo University in Tokyo. In 2012, he assumed the same roles at Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine. He also holds endowed chairs in Data Science and Informatics for Genetic Disorders and in Innovative Longevity. Dr. Horie currently serves as President of the Japanese Society for Men's Health and President of the Japanese Foundation of Anti-Aging Medicine.

I graduated from Kindai University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and completed my urology residency at the same institution. Since then, I have held various clinical and academic positions at major hospitals in Japan, including Kinki University Hospital and Miminaga General Hospital. From 2015 to 2017, I worked as a research fellow in the Department of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh, where I focused on advancing my research skills. My clinical and research interests lie in lower urinary tract dysfunction, pelvic floor disorders, and sexual medicine. I am actively involved in both national and international academic societies and remain committed to contributing to the field of urology through research, education, and patient care.
