Masatoshi Eto is a professor and chairman of Department of Urology, Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Kyushu University. He graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Kyushu University in 1986 and obtained MD degree. In 1988, he entered to Graduate School, Division of Medical Science, Kyushu University (Department of Immunology, Medical Institute of Bioregulation) and obtained Doctor of Medical Science (equivalent to PhD) in 1992. After his residency in Urology at Kyushu University Hospital and clinical fellow at various hospitals, he studied abroad at University of Pittsburgh for 2 years from 1999 to 2001. After studying abroad, he became a lecturer at Kyushu University Hospital. Then he moved to Department of Urology, Kumamoto University as a professor and chairman in 2009. From 2015 to present, he has been a professor and chairman of Department of Urology, Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Kyushu University. In addition, from 2018, he is a director of Department of Advanced Medicine and Innovative Technology, Kyushu University Hospital, and a director of Center for Advanced Medical Innovation, Kyushu University. From 2023, he is a president of JUA.

Dr Fam is Associate Professor and Consultant of Urology in Faculty of Medicine, UKM and Hospital Picaso. He attained his Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master Degree of Doctor of General Surgery (Dr Gen Surg) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He subspecialized in Urology and was awarded with Urology Fellowship by Royal of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgrow FRCS (Urol) (Glasg). He is a certified urologist by Malaysian Board of Urology (MBU). He completed his fellowship of Laparascopic and Robotic Urology Surgery in Urology Department,Chinese People Liberation Army General Hospital, Beijing China. Dr Fam currently serve as the director for Special Interest Group of Minimal Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopic), Malaysia Urology Association. He is also steering faculty for Asia Urological Surgery Training and Education Group (AUSTEG). He is also supervisor and trainer for General Surgery training program and urology training program in Malaysia. He had 38 peer-reviewed publication. He specializes and have vast experience in advanced laparoscopic and robotic urology surgery, with specially interest MIS retroperitoneal surgery and partial nephrectomy.

After receiving his Masters in Urology training In India with honors at the Sri Ramachandra Medical College, he served as an associate professor and senior consultant both at the university and private multinational corporate hospitals until 2008. Subsequently completed a dual Fellowship and Diploma in MIS Urology at the National University Hospital in Singapore from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, He joined as a founder member of the department of urology at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NUHS) and is currently working here. His field of expertise is MIS in calculus disease, MIST for prostate and MIS in renal cancer and kidney diseases. Well, acclaimed regionally and internationally for training of national and international residents and fellows his department is a premier tertiary institute for MIS in stone and prostate surgery. His areas of focus also include Urogenital infections, male urethral disease, and Artificial Intelligence applications. With a key focus on teaching, clinical research, and minimally invasive surgery, and having received three times the “Service quality award” and “Long term service award in urology”, the "silver service award in urology", EAU UROTECH innovations paper award (2021) and BANTUC innovation prize award (2022) and Best clinical paper award in endourology at EAU2025 He is focused on advanced MIS for calculus, benign prostate disease and renal cancer and upper tract infections . As a principal investigator he has pioneered 25 “Real world multicenter studies” with more than 200 peer review publications and serves as editorial board member for many tier 1 journals.

Howard B. Goldman is a Professor on the faculty of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and an expert in quality and patient safety serving as the Institute Vice Chairman for Clinical Affairs at the Glickman Urologic Institute. He served as interim Chairman of the department from 2024 to February 2025. He has a joint appointment in the departments of urology and obstetrics and gynecology and is actively involved in the training of fellows and residents, including serving as the Fellowship director for Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Urology at the Cleveland Clinic. He has directly trained over 40 fellows and residents who are specialized FPMRS practitioners. Many of these fellows have assumed leadership roles in academic urology and many have also become quality and patient safety experts at their local institutions. Dr Goldman’s interests are in the medical and surgical treatment of urinary incontinence and other types of voiding dysfunction, neuromodulation, prolapse repair, complex reconstructive female urologic surgery, robotic surgery and neurourology. His contributions to the literature have been prolific, including author of over 250 articles and book chapters, editor of three textbooks and panel member for a number of standardization, guidelines and best practice statement panels. He has deliverd over 500 national and international lectures. He has been at the forefront of outpatient robotic surgery within FPMRS. Within the AUA he has been on the SUI Guidelines as well as Urodynamics guidelines committees. Within ICS he has been on the male LUTS terminology committee as well as the ICS/IUGA female prolapse terminology committee. He also led the group that came up with the ICS sacral neuromodulation best practices document. His prominent international reputation has led to invitations as visiting professor in the United States and abroad as well as numerous invited lectures. He is on the editorial board of a number of journals and is a former Assistant Editor of the Journal of Urology. He has been the co-director of the AUA annual review course for part 1 of the ABU exam for 10 years, was on the AUA Education committee, is on the SUFU board of directors, was on the International Neurourology board of directors, is on the IUGA scientific committee, is the Chair of the ICS Education committee, was the scientific co-chair for the 2020 ICS annual meeting, was the program co-chair for the 2020 SUFU meeting, was on the program committee for the 2020 International Neurourology Society and is the International Consultation on Incontinence committee chair for surgery for male incontinence. Dr Goldman has been involved in and led numerous projects related to innovative treatments utilizing stem cells for SUI, neuromodulation, utilization of urodynamics, management of complications, robotic surgery and improvements in safety and efficiency in pelvic floor surgery. Recently, he was the clinical lead on an innovative urodynamics device which can stay in the bladder and record events for up to 24 hours without any external catheters. He is also leading a study on the efficacy of sacral neuromodulation in patients with cognitive impairment.
